GM’s Al Oppenheiser recently confirmed more details about the 2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1 at the Camaro homecoming at GM’s Oshawa plant.
The 2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1 will put out more than Cadillac CTS-V’s 550-hp and have an available automatic transmission. The Camaro ZL1 will also get the same Performance Traction Management system as the Corvette ZR1.
Production of the 2012 Camaro ZL1 will kick off in the first quarter of next year.
