2012 Audi A4 to Get a Facelift

The current Audi A4 launched four years ago, so it’s time for a facelift. Although we have yet to see what changes Audi has in store for the revised A4, the last spy shots hint at a revised front-end with tapered headlights and a new grille that is similar to the Audi A6 and A1. The rear end is expected to get new taillights.

The interior is where most of the changes will take place, since the updated A4 is expected to get Audi’s new MMI control system and new luxury features from the larger A6.

There will also be some updates under the hood. As with every automaker’s refreshed or all-new models the A4’s engine lineup will be more fuel efficient and have lower emissions. Audi’s upcoming 3.0L turbocharged diesel engine is expected to be offered in the A4 as the top diesel engine.

It’s not yet known when the revised 2012 A4 will debut, but it’s expected by the end of the year.
