Earlier this week Ford gave spectators their first look at the new 2010 Ford Mustang, although it was heavily camouflaged.

Now comes word that the new Mustang is going to officially debut at the LA Auto Show this November. It was originally planned to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show next January. The unveiling of the 2010 Camaro probably had a little to do with the unveiling of the Mustang being pushed up.

It’s already been reported that the new Mustang will look smaller than the current generation. Expect revised V8 and V6 engines. It’s also been rumored that the Mustang could receive a version of Ford’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6.
