GM finally took the wraps off the 2010 Chevy Camaro on Monday and the news is still coming in on the new car.
At the press event, GM failed to release any details about the performance of the new Camaro beyond actual horsepower numbers, but now we have the details. The base 300 horsepower 2010 Chevrolet Camaro reaches 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds while the Camaro SS reaches it in 4.6 seconds.
In addition to the 0-60 times. Doug Houlihan, GM’s chief engineer for global rear-wheel-drive vehicles, confirmed that the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS lapped the Nurburgring in 8:20.
