Spies have managed to capture a few shots of the upcoming 2009 Ford F-150. Up until now we have only seen prototypes of the truck fully cloaked in camouflage.

It is not known what changes lie under the hood, but from the outside the changes are little more than a typical facelift. The headlights, hood, grille and front bumper have all been changed and outback there are new tailights. The front and rear fenders also receive a new sharp-edged character line. The interior of the new F-150 also receives some minor updates.

The new 2009 F-150 is going to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

Are you disappointed with Ford’s conservative refresh of its best selling model? With the new GM trucks and Toyota Tundra already out and a new Dodge Ram on the horizon do you think Ford should have done more to maintain its top sales position?
