Ford has released the pricing of the new 2008 Ford Taurus X crossover. The Taurus X that replaces the Freestyle in Ford’s lineup will start at $27,365. The new car is basically the old Freestyle with a new name, more powerful 3.5L V6, and revised front and rear styling.
The big news for the 08′ version is the return of the Taurus name and the 3.5L 263 horsepower engine that has 60 more horsepower than the old 3.0L V6.
Hopefully the new Taurus badged version will sell better than the old Freestyle, although it will be interesting to see how it does when the 2009 Ford Flex is released next year.
