If you have $109,000 you can buy the new 2008 Audi R8. That price will get you the six-speed manual version. If you want the six-speed R tronic transmission, it is going to cost you an extra $9k.
The mid-engine all-wheel drive sports car is sure to sell out at that price. The car has a 420 horsepower 4.2L V8 and is capable of hitting 60mph in 4.4 seconds. The car will be out this fall and will mainly compete with the Porsche 911 Turbo.
I saw this car at the L.A. Auto Show and driving in LA this past weekend… it was awesome…if only I had $109,000 in my checking acct.
