Here’s the top-10 list of the best-selling cars last month in the U.S. The effects of the earthquake in Japan are now showing up in the sales numbers. The top-10 list is now comprised of more American and Korean models.

Last month Hyundai had a great month with sales up 40.3 percent and GM had a great month with sales up 26.4 percent. Hyundai’s sales were largely bumped up thanks to the all-new Elantra, which saw sales increase by almost 129 percent, moving it up to the number 9 spot on the list. GM’s popular small car, the Chevy Cruze also had a great month and joined the top-10 list for the first time ever.

The numbers will most likely be skewed more towards the American and Korean models for most of the year, with Toyota, Nissan and Honda continuing to have supply issues.
