VW is hard at work on several new electric cars, which will all be based on its new MEB platform. VW has now confirmed that the production version of the I.D. Crozz crossover, will be the first model to arrive in the United States in 2020.

The I.D. Crozz concept, is one of three VW I.D. concepts, with the first being the hatchback I.D. concept and the other being the Microbus-inspired I.D. Buzz. The production version of the I.D. Crozz concept is expected to closely resemble the concept with an exterior that’s about the same size as the Tiguan.
The rest of the details haven’t been released. The concept featured a driving range around 300 miles, but VW hasn’t announced what the final production model will be capable of when it arrives in about three years.

VW hasn’t announced the production plans for the I.D. Buzz, which was the most exciting of the three concepts.
