Volvo has announced that it will reveal the all-new 2019 Volvo S60 later this month on June 20, at an event at its plant in Charleston, South Carolina. While Volvo hasn’t revealed too many details about the 2019 S60, we do already know some details thanks to this leaked photo.

2019 Volvo S60 teased

The 2019 Volvo S60 will look nearly identical to the V60 from the A pillar forward, which was confirmed thanks to a camouflaged photo that Volvo CEO, Hakan Samuelsson tweeted out a few months ago. The leaked photo shows that the 2019 S60 will borrow some styling cues from the larger S80 sedan, like its C-shaped taillights.

Volvo also recently confirmed that that the 2019 S60 will not be offered with a diesel engine, which marks the first time that Volvo will not offer a diesel engine in one of its models. The move is part of Volvo’s plan to move to a completely electrified lineup, so expect to see plug-in hybrid versions of the new S60 when it debuts.

Stay tuned.
