Volkswagen recently introduced the T-Roc crossover in other markets besides the U.S. and it looks like its next crossover isn’t coming here either. VW has confirmed that the upcoming VW T-Cross compact crossover will not be sold in the U.S. or Canada.
VW has released teasers of the 2019 VW T-Cross crossover, which is based on the MQB platform. The small crossover is geared towards buyers in urban environments that need a crossover with a small footprint, but with enough space inside for a small family.
The VW T-Cross isn’t going to be offered in North America, since VW says that it’s too small, but it will be sold in other markets around the world. “We’re going worldwide with this, starting in Europe, then South America, both Chinese joint ventures and finally India,” VW brand small car product line boss Andreas Krueger told Automotive News Europe.
