Even though the next-generation 2018 Tiguan is already here, VW has announced plans to continue offering the last-generation model, which will be badged as the Tiguan Limited. The 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan Limited will start at $21,995.

Since the 2018 VW Tiguan is now larger, the original Tiguan will offer buyers another choice that want something a little smaller, at least until the new T-Roc arrives.

The Tiguan Limited comes standard with 16-inch steel wheels, cloth seats surfaces, a Composition Color infotainment system with Bluetooth and a rearview camera. The Wheel Package ($495) adds 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.

The Premium Package ($1,295) adds Volkswagen’s Composition Media infotainment system, which has a 6.33-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other features include cruise control, a leather wrapped steering wheel, keyless access with push-button start, a cargo cover, and roof rails.

The Tiguan Limited is powered by a 200-hp 2.0l turbocharged four-cylinder that can be mated to either front or all-wheel drive. It’s only available with a six-speed automatic transmission.
