Have you ever dreamed of seeing the Nissan GT-R‘s 3.8L twin-turbo V6 under the hood of another Nissan model? Maybe the Nissan Z? Well Nissan has done it, but in a model that is a little unexpected. Nissan’s engineers have managed to fit the 3.8L V6 from the GT-R under the hood of the Juke crossover to create the Juke-R “The Ultimate Compact Crossover.”

Nissan calls the Juke-R the first ever super crossover. The one-off concept features the GT-R’s 3.8L V6, six-speed gearbox and a modified GT-R 4WD driveline. The Juke-R also gets flared wheel arches, revised front and rear bumpers, a unique split rear wing and 20-inch RAYS forged alloy rims.

The Juke-R is fully road legal, but don’t expect to see it enter production, but it could lead to a future high-performance Juke.
