VW claims that the all-new 2012 VW Beetle is closer in design to the original than the last generation and that the new Beetle is far sportier. Jay Leno recently got behind the wheel of an iconic 1938 VW Beetle and then he hopped behind the wheel of the 2012 VW Beetle. 
What did Jay Leno have to say about the all-new Beetle?
“The thing that astounds me about this car is how sophisticated and how much power it has..”
“It’s fast, it’s comfortable, it handles…”
“It’s quiet sporty actually. It handles very nicely.”
There you have it! Jay Leno claims that the 2012 VW Beetle has power and is sporty, which are two things we wouldn’t say about the last one.
