If you want something more adventurous than even the RAV4 Adventure, Toyota is introducing the 2020 RAV4 TRD Off-Road. The more trail-ready RAV4 TRD Off-Road was unveiled earlier this year and now we’ve learned that its pricing will start at $36,300, including the destination fees.
Order guides show that the RAV4 TRD Off-Road will cost $9,330 more than the base RAV$ LE, which starts at $26,970.
The 2020 Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road builds on the RAV4 Adventure, but it gets a TRD Off-Road suspension with unique red coil springs, tweaked twin-tube shocks and new internal rebound springs. It also gets 18-inch matte black TRD alloy wheels with Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail all-terrain tires.
The RAV4 TRD Off-Road is powered by a 2.5L, 203-hp four-cylinder engine that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It also comes standard with all-wheel drive system, which can send up to 50 percent of the torque to the rear wheels.
