Toyota has already announced that the 2020 Toyota 4Runner has received a long list of upgrades, like Toyota’s active safety system TSS-P on all grades and 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa connectivity. Now it’s unveiled the new 2020 4Runner Venture Edition.

As its name suggests, the 4Runner Venture Edition is ready for an adventure. It’s based on the TRD Off-Road Premium model, but adds a Yakima Megawarrior roof rack, which provides additional roof-top storage in its tray that measures 52 inches in length, 48 inches in width and 6.5 inches in height. It also rides on gunmetal colored 17-inch TRD wheels and features black outer mirrors, door handles and a black rear spoiler.

To help you tackle the trails, the 4Runner Venture Edition also Crawl control, which regulates engine speed and braking force to slowly move the vehicle in forward or reverse at one of five driver-selectable low-speed settings. Crawl control allows the driver to focus on steering without having to also modulate the throttle or brake pedal. There’s also Active Traction Control, which can help maintain traction by distributing drive force to any one wheel in contact with the ground when it senses wheel slippage. Lastly the Multi-Terrain Select helps improves grip by controlling wheel spin based on the terrain setting selected by the driver.
