Toyota’s UK division has released the details on the UK-spec 2012 Toyota Yaris, which is expected to be pretty close to our own version of the Yaris in the US.
The third generation Yaris will be offered in four trim levels in the UK, T2, TR, SR and T Spirit with prices starting at £11,170. There are three different engine options for the Yaris, 1.0L and 1.33L gas engines and a 1.4L diesel. The three-cylinder 1.0L puts out 68 horsepower, while the 1.33L generates 98 horsepower and can be mated to Toyota’s new Multidrive S CVT. The 1.4L diesel is mated to a standard six-speed manual and puts out 89 horsepower.
Pricing ranges from £11,170 for the T2 three-door with the 1.0L all the way up to £15,385 for the T Spirit five-door with the 1.33L engine and CVT.
