A new report claims that Toyota has given the green light to a production version of the Toyota TJ Cruiser concept.

The TJ Cruiser concept debuted at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show and. The boxy van looked like a modern take on the Honda Element. According to Japan’s Best Car, the production version of the TJ Cruiser concept will debut in October with sales beginning sometime in 2020.

The report also claims that the production version will be shorter than the Toyota C-HR, but also a bit taller to give it more interior room. It’s not known yet what will power it, but the report claims that it could borrow the 1.8L hybrid powertrain from the Prius, while a 2.0L four-cylinder could also be available.

We’ll have to wait and see if Toyota decides to bring the TJ Cruiser to the US.
