Toyota is going to officially unveil the all-new 2010 Prius at the Detroit Auto Show in January. The automaker has launched a microsite, which has a countdown clock.

Too bad we’ve already seen a few photos of the new Prius that leaked onto the web. At first we weren’t sure if the photos were authentic, but Toyota eventually confirmed that the leaked photos are of the next Prius.

Overall the 2010 Prius will keep the same basic shape as the current generation. Inside there is a whole new dash that is very different than the current model.
