As expected, Toyota is preparing to pull the covers off the next-generation Highlander—and now it’s official. After releasing a series of vague teaser images over the past week, Toyota has confirmed that the mystery three-row SUV is indeed the all-new Toyota Highlander.

Details remain limited for now, but Toyota says the 2027 Highlander will feature “modern lines, an electric powertrain, and a spacious three-row cabin with comfort for the whole crew.” While that description leaves plenty of room for interpretation, it does confirm a major shift for the Highlander as it moves into the electric era.

Beyond that, Toyota is still keeping specs, range figures, and trim details under wraps. Those answers won’t come until the full debut, which is scheduled for February 10.

We’ll have complete coverage once Toyota officially reveals the 2027 Highlander, so stay tuned.
