The Toyota Celica Will Return in 2009

The Toyota Celica was killed back in 2005, but according to Toyota’s German Chief Markus Schrick, the car is set to make a return.

Unfortunately the Celica is only going to return to the European market in 2009. Although it could come to the US eventually. It’s unknown what shape this new Celica will take and if it will be revived as a low-cost RWD coupe.

Toyota currently lacks a sports model in its lineup, so lets hope that Toyota is planning on fixing that in the near future.
