It looks like Tesla has decided against offering the Model Y Long Range RWD, according to a new report. Teslarati is reporting from its readers that Tesla sales associates have told them that the Model Y Long Range with rear-wheel drive has been scrapped from Tesla’s plans. This means that those buyers that ordered the Model Y Long Range RWD will have to order a different version.

It seems like Tesla has been going back and forth about the Model Y. CEO Elon Musk originally stated that the Model Y Standard Range RWD wasn’t going to happen due to its low driving range, so a Long Range RWD version would be offered. Then last month Tesla surprised everyone by revealing the Model Y Standard Range RWD. Just a little confusing.

So now that means the Model Y lineup consists of the Standard Range RWD, Long Range AWD and the Performance version.
