Tesla will finally start taking orders for the Model 3 dual-motor and performance versions next week according to a tweet from Elon Musk. Tesla’s CEO not only confirmed that it will start taking orders next week, but if all goes as planned, production will kick off in July.

Tesla Model 3

Buyers have been waiting for Tesla to release the all-wheel drive version of the Model 3, since deliveries started. If you’re holding until you can get the air suspension, you’ll have to wait until 2019, since Musk also stated, “Air suspension prob next year.” A white interior will also be optional starting in July.

While we finally have a confirmation that both the dual-motor and performance versions of the Model 3 will soon be on their way, we still don’t know the specs for either version. Also Tesla still hasn’t started deliveries of the cheaper $35,000 Model 3, but it’s expected to arrive by the end of the year.
