Tesla CEO Elon Musk has confirmed on his Twitter account that the Tesla Model X crossover will be unveiled on February 9th at Tesla’s design studio in California.
The Tesla Model X will share its platform with the upcoming Model S sedan, but its not known if the version we will see next month will be the production version or a concept. The Model X crossover was rumored to be unveiled by the end of December, but isn’t slated to go on sale until late 2013.
According to Tesla, the Model X will “incorporate the functionality of a minivan with the consumer appeal of a sports-utility vehicle.”
