Earlier today a photo of the interior of the production Chevy Volt hybrid surfaced and now we have some shots of the car on the set of Transformers 2. What’s exciting is that these our are first look at the production version of the car.
GM has released several teaser pics of the highly anticipated Chevy Volt but now we can put it all together with these small fuzzy shots.
Also I was lucky enough to have dinner with a few GM execs tonight and a few things were confirmed:
-The interior shot that surfaced today is indeed a shot of the production car
-There are now 85,000 hand raisers for the car
-The Volt will be officially unveiled between now and the LA Auto Show in November
-GM has set an expected on sale date of November 2010
-There are some internal discussions about spreading the Volt to other brands like Cadillac or maybe even creating different versions of the Volt within the Chevy brand.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will hit theaters on June 26th, 2009.
