Rolls-Royce is getting ready to reveal the next-generation Rolls-Royce Ghost, which it says will debut “in the next few months.” Today Rolls-Royce CEO, Torsten Müller-Ötvös has written a letter about the new Ghost, which includes our first teaser.

Since the current Ghost arrived in 2009, it has quickly become the brand’s most successful model in its 116-year history. In order to create the next Ghost, which the brand hopes will “resonate with our Ghost clients for the next ten years,” Rolls-Royce had to listen to the demands and desires of its clients.

“Our clients expressed an ardent desire for even more minimalism in design.” Everything has been redone with the new Ghost, with the Spirit of Ecstasy and integrated door umbrellas being the only two things carrying over.

“We found that these clients are showing a marked tendency towards luxury objects that celebrate reduction and restraint – that don’t shout, but rather, whisper. They are seeking design purity by rejecting obvious and unnecessary embellishments and overt complication.”

The new Rolls-Royce Ghost is going to debut at some point this fall, but over the coming weeks, the brand will release a series of four animation that will release more details.
