If you like the Range Rover Velar, but want one that is more powerful and exclusive, then you’ll be happy with the new Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition.
Land Rover has unveiled the Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition, which will be the most powerful version available, but there’s a catch. It’s only available for one year.
The Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with 550-hp and 502 lb-ft. of torque. The V8 is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and accelerates the Velar from 0-60 mph in a quick 4.3 seconds. It has a top speed of 170 mph.
In addition to the more powerful engine, the Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition also gets updates to its suspension, braking and all-wheel drive system.
“Enhancing performance is straightforward; the challenge here was preserving the composure, capability and refinement inherent in Range Rover Velar,” stated Michael van der Sande, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations. “We’ve done this and, in the process, created an SUV that strikes a brilliant balance between go-anywhere practicality, dynamic performance and relaxing comfort – it truly is an SUV for any occasion.”
To help it stand out from the rest of the lineup, the Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition has a new front bumper with larger air intakes, a new grille, lower side moldings, and a revised rear bumper with integrated quad exhaust finishers. It also rides on unique 21-inch wheels.
Inside the seats are wrapped in quilted Windsor leather. The front seats are 20-way adjustable with heat and cooling and massage functions.
The Range Rover elar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition is available in Firenze Red, Santorini Black, Eiger Grey, Fuji White, Indus Silver and, Satin Byron Blue. Land Rover has not announced the pricing in the US.
