The Porsche Taycan electric car is still about a year away, but we might have just received some juicy details about the pricing and different versions that will be available. A leaked email has revealed that the 2020 Porsche Taycan will be offered in three versions: Taycan, Taycan 4S and Taycan Turbo.
Yup if the leaked email is correct, Porsche will continue to use its existing naming structure for the Taycan, even though there isn’t an internal combustion engine under the hood and definitely not a turbo. Alex Roy received an email from a Porsche brand ambassador that not only reveals the different Taycan models, but also its pricing.
If that pricing is correct, that contradicts earlier reports that claimed that the 2020 Taycan would actually be pricing below the Panamera, which starts at $85,000. It also looks like the base Taycan will feature rear-wheel drive, while the Taycan 4S and Taycan Turbo models will have all-wheel drive.
