Yesterday we learned that the electric Porsche Macan is slated to enter production in 2022 as a 2023 model, but before the Macan EV arrives, Porsche has another electric car in the works. Porsche has announced that the Taycan Cross Turismo will debut later this year.
Porsche made the announcement about the new EV in its Annual and Sustainability Report 2019 that was released today. The Taycan Cross Turismo is the production version of the Mission E Cross Turismo concept that debuted two years ago at the Geneva Motor Show. It’s basically a higher riding wagon version of the Taycan.
The document also mentions the fully electric version of the next-generation Macan, which will be based on the Premium Platform Electric platform, which is being developed by Porsche and Audi.
