We’ve been waiting to hear what Porsche will call the production version of the Mission E electric car and now we have it – Porsche Taycan. The name may not mean much to us, but according to Porsche, Taycan means “lively young horse.”

The 2020 Porsche Taycan will arrive with 600 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of only 3.5 seconds. The good news is that the Taycan will also have a driving range around 300 miles, which will pit it directly against the Tesla Model S.

What else do we know about the Taycan? Porsche is investing more than $1 billion to produce the Taycan, which will enter production by the end of 2019.
