Porsche has already unveiled the new 2011 Cayenne SUV that will go on sale this summer, but the automaker has no plans to build a smaller SUV. Insiders recently told Autocar that there is already evidence that the Audi Q5 is stealing sales from the larger Q7, so Porsche does not want the same thing to happen to the Cayenne. The Cayenne currently accounts for up to 50 percent of the automaker’s profits.

The 2011 Cayenne will go on sale in July and be available either with a 300-hp 3.6L V6, 400-hp 4.8L V8 or a 500-hp 4.8L twin-turbocharged V8. A hybrid Cayenne is also going to be introduced with a combined 380 horsepower.
