Nissan has already announced an ambitious plan to revive its sales with a slew of new models and now it’s announced the addition of more safety tech to make its vehicles more appealing. Nissan has announced today that it will make its Safety Shield 360 suite of safety technologies standard on 10 models in 2021.

The Safety Shield 360 suite includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, high beam assist, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert and rear automatic braking.

10 Nissan models will come standard with the suite beginning with the 2021 model year, although six models already have it: the Sentra, Leaf, Kicks, Maxima, Rogue Sport and Titan. The 2021 Rogue is also coming standard with it. Three other models will get the safety suite and Nissan says that it will announce them “in the coming months.”
