Last week Nissan released the first teaser photo of the production version of the Nissan Ariya electric crossover and now we know when it’s going to debut – July 15. The news about the all-electric crossover was announced today during Nissan’s annual shareholders’ meeting.

The Nissan Ariya was previewed last year with the Ariya concept. Nissan hasn’t revealed the stats yet, but the Ariya is expected to be offered in single- and dual-motor versions with the most efficient version having a 300 mile range. Automotive News is also reporting that the Ariya will be get Nissan’s ProPilot 2.0 autonomous driving tech.

The Ariya will go on sale first in Japan, but it’s being reported that it will arrive in the United States during the second half of 2021.

The pricing for the Nissan Ariya is expected to start around $40,000, which means that it will go rival other electric crossovers, like the Ford Mustang Mach-E and Tesla Model Y.
