We finally have an official date! Nissan has announced that the 2022 Nissan Z will debut on August 17. Nissan gave us a preview of the new Z with the Z Proto concept last fall and although Nissan has been pretty quiet about the details, we already know a lot about it.
For starters the 2022 Z will be powered by a twin-turbocharged V6, which we expect to be the same 3.0-liter V6 that powers the Infiniti Q60. A manual transmission will be available, which is great news, since its closest rival, the Toyota Supra isn’t available with one.
Another report claims that the new Z will start at $34,995, with the fully optioned version coming in around $45k. It’s also being reported that Nissan will start taking orders for the new Z on November 15.
