Nissan Trumps the Volt with Leaf's 367 MPG Post on Twitter

Haha… GM announced this morning that the Volt is going to get 230 mpg and now Nissan posts that its upcoming Leaf EV is going to get 367 mpg.

“Nissan Leaf = 367 mpg, no tailpipe, and no gas required. Oh yeah, and it’ll be affordable too!”

Nissan claims its 367 mpg figure was derived by using a Department of Energy formula.

We’ll have to wait and see when both vehicles are actually released.
