When the rumors started circulating last year many of were shocked that Nissan was actually contemplating introducing a drop-top version of its Murano crossover. Inside Line originally reported Nissan’s plans to produce the convertible Murano and this week they got confirmation from an inside source that the project is still on. According to a source at the Detroit Auto Show, the Nissan Murano convertible will be a two-door with a soft-top. It is expected to be released by the end of the year as a 2011 model.
