Nissan Leaf buyers now get free charging in Boston

Nissan has announced that its “No Charge to Charge” promotion is now available for Boston-area Nissan Leaf buyers.

Nissan has announced that its “No Charge to Charge” promotion is now available for Boston-area Nissan Leaf buyers. The promotion provides two years of free public charging and includes access to fast chargers that can charge the Leaf from empty to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.
Nissan now offers “No Charge to Charge” in 17 U.S. markets, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, Fresno, Seattle, Portland (Oregon), Chicago, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Nashville, Phoenix, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, Denver and Washington, D.C. Nissan plans to offer the “No Charge to Charge” program at LEAF dealers in a total of at least 25 U.S. markets later this year.

The current Leaf has a driving range of 84 miles, but the 2016 Leaf is expected to get a slightly stronger battery that could give it a driving range closer to 100 miles.
