An off-road race pickup truck? Now you’re talking.

Meet the Nissan Forsberg Frontier, one of three concepts being shown by Nissan at the 2023 SEMA Show, which opens October 31 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

But this tricked-up truck is a treat, developed in collaboration with Forsberg Racing and multi-time Formula Drift champion Chris Forsberg. So it’s fitted with a boatload of NISMO Off-Road parts meant to meet the extreme demands of the NORRA 500 off-road race. And it did, with the team finishing first in the stock vehicle class of the NORRA 500.

“Racing the Forsberg Frontier Off-Road Race Truck at the NORRA 500 was an exhilarating experience,” said Forsberg. “Nissan and the Forsberg Racing team have created a true beast of a machine.”

While Forsberg didn’t reveal what mods were made to the Frontier, its racing success proves it’s ready to tackle any trail.

In addition to the modified pickup, Nissan with also be displaying the recently-launched 2024 Nissan Z NISMO and the 2024 GT-R NISMO. The former comes with 420 horsepower, NISMO-tuned suspension, NISMO-enhanced brakes and other performance enhancements, while the latter comers with a 600-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6, along with enhanced suspension, brakes and aerodynamic components.
