Instead of debuting the next-generation RX in Detroit, Lexus is now reportedly going to use the 2015 New York Auto Show for its debut.

Earlier this week Lexus revealed the 2016 GS F at the Detroit Auto Show, but we were also expected a new RX to take the stage. Instead of debuting the next-generation RX in Detroit, Lexus is now reportedly going to use the 2015 New York Auto Show for its debut.
The 2016 RX will continue to share its platform with the Toyota Highlander and will grow a bit larger to separate it from the 2016 NX. We’ll have to wait and see if Lexus adds a seven-seat option for the first time. Don’t expect a drastic styling change, since the RX350 has been Lexus’ No. 1 selling model for years, but we can expect it to get the latest version of the spindle grille and some of the same styling cues as the smaller NX.
