Tesla has already announced plans to increase its network of fast-charging stations across the country, but tomorrow Tesla is going to unveil a new battery swap option at an event in California. The new battery swapping capability will allow drivers to quickly swap their car’s battery with a charged battery, which would be even faster than waiting to charge the car’s existing battery.
Tesla has confirmed that it plans to reveal a way that the Tesla Model S can be recharged faster than filling a conventional car’s gas tank. Tomorrow night we should get more details about the battery swapping, including where it will take place.
