Jaguar Teases the F-Type on the Track (Video)

Jaguar has just released a video of a few F-Type prototypes hitting the North Loop track at the Nürburgring in Germany.

We’re only a few days away from the official debut of the Jaguar’s newest sports car, the Jaguar F-Type. Jaguar has just released a video of a few F-Type prototypes hitting the North Loop track at the Nürburgring in Germany. Jaguar had this to say about the two-minute video, “watch as we place the F-TYPE through a series of sustained high speed laps with rapid changes of direction, gradient, speed, braking, and surface to help refine the its set up, damping, and braking systems…”

The F-Type will be a front-engined, rear-wheel drive convertible. There will be three models of F-TYPE will be available. Powered respectively by 335-hp and 375-hp versions of Jaguar’s new 3.0-liter V6 supercharged engine and a new derivative of its 5.0-litre V8 supercharged unit.
