2016 BMW M2 debuts with 365-hp, 0-62 mph in 4.2 secs, arrives in the spring

As the successor to the 1 Series M Coupe, the 2016 M2 lets you know its packing something serious under the hood with its new more aggressive front bumper, wider fenders, revised rear bumpers and its four-tailpipe exhaust system. It also gets a small rear spoiler and unique 19-inch aluminum wheels.

The M2 is powered by a TwinPower turbocharged 3.0L six-cylinder that generates 365-hp and 343 lb-ft. torque or 369 lb-ft. with overboost. When its paired with the seven-speed double clutch transmission it reaches 0-60 mph 4.2 seconds and with the six-speed manual it reaches 60 mph in 4.4 seconds.

Other performance upgrades include suspension bits borrowed from the M3/ M4, an M-tuned power steering system, an Active M Differential and an upgraded braking system.
