Now that school is back in session, MINI has introduced a special MINI that’s aimed at frugal college students – the 2019 MINI Oxford edition. The 2019 MINI Oxford edition starts at $20,600 for the two-door model and the four-door is priced at $21,600. MINI also points out that the MINI Oxford edition comes standard with $6,900 worth of features, that are normally optional.
The 2019 MINI Oxford edition comes standard with the MINI Connected Infotainment System with a 6.5 inch screen, rear-view camera, and park distance control. It also gets upgraded 17” wheels in silver or black, a panoramic moonroof, heated seats, and a choice of six exterior body colors. Buyers can also choose either a manual or automatic transmission.
While the price and features of the 2019 MINI Oxford edition may sound appealing, there’s a caveat. The 2019 MINI Oxford edition is only available to current full- or part-time college students, recent college graduates who are within 12 months of their graduation, as well as students enrolled in post-bachelor’s degree programs.
