The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door is getting some updates for the 2022 model year. Mercedes says that the 2022 AMG GT 4-Door is available with new individualization options.

2022 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door

The GT 4-Door has only been offered with a two-person rear seat, since it debuted three years ago, but now a rear bench seat is available that turns it into a five seater. There’s also a new AMG steering wheel with new drive-mode touchscreen buttons, plus a surround-view camera system is now standard.

Buyers can choose three new exterior colors: Cashmere White Magno, Starling Blue Magno and Starling Blue Metallic. There are four new wheel designs and the GT 53 is available with the Silver Chrome Exterior package and an Exterior Carbon-Fiber Package.

2022 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door

The 2022 GT-4 Door also gets a new Manufaktur Exclusive Edition, which is based on the GT 53. It comes exclusively in Rubellite Red Metallic and gets the V8 Styling Package and the Silver Chrome Exterior Package. It rides on new 21-inch wheels and inside the seats are wrapped in Neva Grey Nappa leather. The steering wheel is wrapped in Neva Grey / Black Nappa leather and there’s Natural Grain Grey Ash wood trim, illuminated door sills in the vehicle color and an AMG Edition badge on the instrument panel.

The two six-cylinder engines remain unchanged for the 2022 GT 43 and GT 53. The GT 43 is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. It generates 362 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The GT 53 gets an electric supercharger to increase the output to 429 hp and 384 lb-ft.
