The 2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS is slated to arrive at dealerships later this year and now Mercedes-Benz has announced the pricing for the first ever Maybach SUV. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS starts at $161,550, including the destination charge.

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS amps up the luxury of the big SUV with a unique 4-seat configuration with two individual rear seats, which are also heated and ventilated. A 5-seat configuration is also available.

Inside there are heated and cooled cupholders and wireless charging in the front and rear, extended ambient lighting in the roof liner, a Nappa leather roof liner and a long list of energizing Comfort modes for enhanced relaxation or rejuvenation. The Air Balance cabin fragrance system also includes a signature fragrance for the Mercedes-Maybach: the light and floral white osmanthus blossom, rounded off by gentle notes of leather and spicy tea.

In the rear there’s a 7-inch MBUX tablet that controls the heated and ventilated rear seats and 4-zone climate control.

On the outside, the Maybach GLS600 stands out with its 23-inch wheels, hood mounted logo, unique grille and Maybach badges.

The Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine with EQ boost and a 48-volt onboard electrical system. The powertrain generates 550 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque, while the integrated starter generator can add up to 21 hp and 184 lb-ft. of torque for short periods. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS can reach 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds.
