Mercedes-Benz has released some more details about the 2021 S-Class and this time we get to hear more about its new interior. The brand now says that the interior of the S-Class is now a “third place” or more specifically “a refuge between home and workplace.”

2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Inside the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class has new ambient lighting, which includes the use of 250 LEDs in fiber optics. The optics are designed to create a continuous line of light. The lighting is also integrated with the driver assistance tech, since it can help warn you of a possible collision by projecting red lighting throughout the cabin.

There’s also a new filtering system with an ionizer to improve the air quality in the cabin and an active fragrance if you want to get rid of any nasty smells.

We also can’t ignore the new Energizing Comfort system, which is available with the optional Warmth & Comfort package. The system can help invigorate you if you feel fatigued or relax you if you’re stressed out. There’s also an Energizing Coach, which can suggest an appropriate fitness or wellness program based on vehicle and trip data. It can also integrate sleep and stress level data into its algorithm.

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is going to debut in September.
