We’re excited for the arrival of the all-wheel drive 2021 Mazda3 Turbo and the good news is that it’s almost just as fuel efficient as the non-turbo version.

The EPA has posted its ratings for the Mazda3 Turbo, which is rated at 23 mpg city, 32 mpg highway and 27 mpg combined for the sedan, which compares to 25/33/28 mpg for the all-wheel drive sedan with the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter engine.

The Mazda3 Turbo hatchback is rated at 23/31/26 mpg, while the non-turbo version with all-wheel drive, is rated at 25/31/27 mpg.

The Mazda3 Turbo is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque on premium fuel. It comes standard with all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2021 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo starts at $29,900 for the sedan and $30,900 for the hatchback.
