Nearly ever automaker has jumped on the blacked-out theme, like Toyota’s Nightshade editions and even Ram’s Black Edition pickup trucks. Now Mazda has announced its own blacked-out models with the introduction of the 2021 Carbon Edition models.
The Carbon Edition models, include special versions of the 2021 Mazda6, CX-5 and CX-9. They come exclusively in Polymetal Gray with blacked-out trim and black metallic wheels. Inside there’s a red leather interior and black accents.
The 2021 CX-5, CX-9 and Mazda6 Carbon Edition models also come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Bose premium audio system and heated front seats. They also get blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross traffic alert and adaptive cruise control.
Mazda hasn’t announced the pricing for the 2021 Carbon Edition models.
