The 2019 Lincoln MKZ is getting a few changes, like the deletion of the Black Label trim level and the addition of standard automatic emergency braking.
Cars Direct got its hands on the order guides for the 2019 Lincoln MKZ, which shows some big changes to its trim levels. For starters the top spec Black Label trim level is going away, although Lincoln still offers it on other models, like the MKC and 2019 Nautilus. With the Black Label being removed from the 2019 MKZ’s options list, Lincoln also decided to simplify the existing trim levels.
The 2019 MKZ is now available in Base, Reserve I and Reserve II trim levels that replace the former Premiere, Select and Reserve trim levels. There’s also some availability changes for the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6, which generates up to 400 horsepower. Previously buyers could upgrade to the 3.0L V6 even if they chose the mid-level Select trim, but now the upgraded engine is only available on the Reserve trim level for 2019.
All 2019 MKZ models come standard with the Lincoln Co-Pilot360, which includes features, like auto emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warning, lane departure warning with lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and auto high beams.
