Lamborghini has unveiled a new treat, the 2020 Lamborghini Huracán Evo Rear-Wheel Drive, which as its name suggests, is a RWD version of the supercar. The switch to rear-wheel drive, not only cuts some weight, but it also lowers the price and makes it a bit more fun.

The 2020 Lamborghini Huracán Evo Rear-Wheel Drive is just as sleek and sexy as the all-wheel drive version, but it does get a few styling tweaks, especially at the front where its face is now a little simpler.

The Evo Rear-Wheel Drive is powered by the same naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine as the all-wheel drive version, but it’s been detuned a bit to 602 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque – a decrease of 29 hp and 29 lb-ft. Before you start complaining, you’ll be happy to hear that the rear-wheel drive version is 75 pounds lighter than its all-wheel drive counterpart, so you shouldn’t really notice the slight power decrease. The Huracán Evo Rear-Wheel Drive can zoom from 0-62 mph (0-100 kmh) in 3.3 seconds.

Lamborghini also says that it tweaked the Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) for the rear-wheel drive Huracán EVO to send torque to the rear wheels even during the phase where the car is realigning following drifting or side-slipping. Also in Sport mode the rear wheels can slide and skate during acceleration, for easy drifting fun without compromising safety.

The 2020 Lamborghini Huracán Evo Rear-Wheel Drive is priced at $208,571 before destination, which is $50,000 cheaper than the Evo all-wheel-drive.
